Her work focuses on printed materials, analog processes, and imagery for the creative field, collaborating primarily with fashion brands, designers, artisans, and artists.<br><br>\n\nShe studied Fashion and Textile Design at the Faculty of Architecture, Design, and Urbanism (FADU) at the University of Buenos Aires, where she graduated in 2016. She also taught at the same institution. After graduating, she was awarded the prize for the Terma Sustainability Contest and presented a collection at Buenos Aires Fashion Week.<br><br>\n\nFor six years, she worked as a print designer for the brand Jazm\u00edn Chebar, a high-end Argentine brand where she illustrated artworks to be printed on exclusive womenswear and accessories. She developed fabrics, jacquards, laces, embroideries, and embellishments. During that time, Laura gained expertise in researching fresh ideas and new materials for the collection, working alongside the creative director, the design team as well as local and international suppliers.<br><br>\n\nAlongside her professional work, Laura was an active participant in various artistic workshops. Among them, she studied photographic editing under the guidance of Guillermo Ueno and took part in a photography clinic led by Alberto Goldenstein. She also attended PAN, a black-and-white photographic development and printing lab run by Bel\u00e9n Messina. Additionally, she was part of \u2018Leer Para Dise\u00f1ar\u2019 (LPD), a reading group focused on exploring architecture, design, and art. Finally, she took painting classes with Lola Gonz\u00e1lez.<br><br>\n\nCurrently, she works as an independent print designer in her textile studio based in Buenos Aires focusing on her personal project, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/layana_______\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; text-decoration: underline;\">Layana<\/span><\/a>. Su trabajo se centra en materiales impresos, procesos anal\u00f3gicos e im\u00e1genes para el campo creativo, colaborando principalmente con marcas de moda, dise\u00f1adores, artesanos y artistas.<br><br>\n\nEstudi\u00f3 Dise\u00f1o de Indumentaria y Textil en la Facultad de Arquitectura, Dise\u00f1o y Urbanismo de la Universidad de Buenos Aires, donde se gradu\u00f3 en 2016. Tambi\u00e9n ense\u00f1\u00f3 en la misma instituci\u00f3n. Despu\u00e9s de graduarse, recibi\u00f3 el premio del Concurso de Sostenibilidad Terma y present\u00f3 una colecci\u00f3n en Buenos Aires Fashion Week.<br><br>\n\nDurante seis a\u00f1os, trabaj\u00f3 como dise\u00f1adora de estampados para la marca Jazm\u00edn Chebar, una prestigiosa marca argentina, donde realiz\u00f3 ilustraciones para ser estampadas en prendas de vestir y accesorios exclusivos de mujer. Desarroll\u00f3 telas, jacquards, encajes, bordados y apliques. Durante ese tiempo, Laura adquiri\u00f3 experiencia en la investigaci\u00f3n de nuevas ideas y materiales para cada colecci\u00f3n, trabajando junto a la directora creativa, el equipo de dise\u00f1o y proveedores locales e internacionales.<br><br>\n\nEn paralelo a su trabajo profesional, fue una participante activa en diversos talleres art\u00edsticos. Entre ellos, estudi\u00f3 edici\u00f3n fotogr\u00e1fica bajo la direcci\u00f3n de Guillermo Ueno y particip\u00f3 en una cl\u00ednica de fotograf\u00eda dirigida por Alberto Goldenstein. Tambi\u00e9n asisti\u00f3 a PAN, un laboratorio de revelado y copiado de fotograf\u00eda en blanco y negro, a cargo de Bel\u00e9n Messina. Adem\u00e1s, form\u00f3 parte de \u2018Leer Para Dise\u00f1ar\u2019 (LPD), un grupo de lectura sobre arquitectura, dise\u00f1o y arte. Por \u00faltimo, tom\u00f3 clases de pintura con Lola Gonz\u00e1lez.<br><br>\n\nActualmente, trabaja como dise\u00f1adora de estampas en su estudio textil con base en Buenos Aires, enfoc\u00e1ndose en su proyecto personal, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/layana_______\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; text-decoration: underline;\">Layana<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
